The Photograph As Contemporary Art

Photography

A collection of three diptychs based on several concepts from “The Photograph as Contemporary Art“ by W.W. Norton Trade. The concepts were chosen to “avoid giving the impression that it is either style or choice... that predominantly determines the [prominent] characteristics of current art photography.” It covers on the ideas of photography being seen as art or simply as a vessel for visual information. With these concepts in mind, my photos play with the idea of “art” or “information” and how they can work hand-in-hand.
